Gas pipeline signed in Jilin
Adjust font size:

PetroChina, the country's largest oil and gas producer has signed an agreement with the Jilin provincial government to build a natural gas pipeline in the province.

The project, with a length of 221 km, has a total investment of 1.2 billion yuan (US$176 million). It is a vital part in PetroChina's plan to build a gas pipeline network in northeast China.

In February PetroChina started the construction of the nation's second West-to-East natural gas pipeline, which will mainly carry natural gas from Turkmenistan and China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region to the Yangtze and Pearl River deltas.
