PetroChina's capacity may rise
Adjust font size:

PetroChina Co may double the capacity of a refinery in northwest China's Gansu Province, the 21st Century Business Herald said, citing the plant's General Manager Xuan Changwei.

The Lanzhou refinery will be able to process 20 million tons of crude a year, or 400,000 barrels a day. The expansion plan is pending approval from the parent company, it said. PetroChina has started building a 5.5-million-ton-a-year crude distillation unit.
