Skyworth Digital Holdings Domestic market declines

Skkyworth Digital Holdings Ltd's total television sales fell 9 percent from a year earlier to 719,000 units after a decline in its home market.

Sales in China fell 18 percent to 496,000 units, Skyworth said in a filing to Hong Kong's stock exchange yesterday. Overseas sales gained 17 percent to 223,000 units, with the number of flat-panel televisions sold more than doubling to 9,100.

Skyworth sold 212,600 flat-panel sets in China, more than double the number it sold a year earlier.
