Air China in talks with East Star Airlines

Air China Ltd, the nation's second-largest carrier, said its parent is in talks to buy all or part of East Star Airlines.

China National Aviation Holding Co, which is the controlling shareholder of Air China, is in preliminary talks related to "the acquisition of the entire or part of the share capital of East Star Airlines," the Beijing-based company said in Hong Kong on Monday.
