China Life sees premium rising

China Life Insurance Co, the nation's biggest insurer, had 67.2 billion yuan (US$9.8 billion) in premium income for the first two months of this year, it said in a statement to the Hong Kong stock exchange Monday.

That was a 12.6-percent rise from the 59.7 billion yuan posted a year earlier, according to Bloomberg News calculations.
