Shanghai VW launches new Passat Lingyu

Shanghai Volkswagen Co launched a remodeled Passat Lingyu over the weekend to take on Toyota's Camry and Honda's Accord in the mid-to-high-class segment.

The model will be available in three engine capacities - 2.0 liters, 1.8 turbo and 2.8 V6 costing between 169,800 yuan (US$24,824) and 303,800 yuan. Shanghai VW said the Passat New Lingyu integrated German engineering and Chinese features.
