BOC Hong Kong appoints new vice chairman

Li Lihui, who was currently the vice chairman and president of the Chinese mainland-based Bank of China Limited, has also been appointed vice chairman and non-executive director of the company's subsidiary BOC Hong Kong.

Li, 57, will serve as the vice chairman and non-executive director of the Hong Kong-based subsidiary for about three years until the 2012 annual general meeting.

His predecessor, Sun Changji, retired on June 26 this year.
