Sinopec wins government approval of Addax takeover

Sinopec Group, China's largest oil refiner, announced Wednesday that it had got approval from the National Development and Reform Commission of an 8.27 billion Canadian dollar (US$7.51 billion) bid for taking over Geneva-based oil and gas producer Addax Petroleum Corp..
