Sara Yu Siying, the Vice President of the group, is also the associate General Counsel responsible for Chinese legal affairs. Documents available online show that Yu once served at Zhejiang Haihao Law Firm before she became the legal counsel for Taobao.com. Later, she joined Alibaba's legal department and provided legal consultancy to Alibaba regarding the issues of fraudulent goods and online shopping infringement complaints.
