White House: Obama to visit China in 2nd half of this year

U.S. President Barack Obama will visit China in the 2nd half of this year, the White House said in a statement on Wednesday.

"President Hu Jintao invited President Obama to visit China in the second half of this year, and President Obama accepted the invitation with pleasure," said the statement, issued shortly after the summit meeting between the two presidents in London.
