A source from the CAAC revealed that the administration had conducted long research, including many seminars and fielding suggestions from Air China, China Eastern, China Southern, Hainan Airlines and Shanghai Airlines. In total, applications concern 27 new regular air routes to the US and Europe and increasing passenger flights by 206 a week.
