Haier teams up with Ingram for further overseas expansion

Haier, China's largest home electric appliance manufacturer, has signed a US$250 million contract with Ingram Micro, the world's largest IT contributor, thus marking the early launch of Haier's 2008 computer market expansion plans.

Realizing that home appliances profits are continuously shrinking, Haier has decided to shift its focus from home appliances to computer business and equipment to further expand its overseas market.
