Gasoline prices raised in Beijing
Adjust font size:

Gasoline prices in Beijing were raised today in accordance with a statement from the Beijing Municipal Commission of Development and Reform, reports the Economic Observer.

It noted that prices of standard gasoline and diesel oil have been raised respectively by 200 yuan per ton and 290 yuan per ton. This price adjustment applies only to the Beijing area, and is not nationwide.

It is also stated that oil product commerces can adjust their retail prices on the basis of the authority-fixed price, but the range of any increase should be strictly within 8 percent. For example, the maximum prices of gasoline 93 and gasoline 97 will be 6.37 yuan per liter and 6.78 yuan per liter respectively, 0.17 yuan and 0.18 yuan higher than previous prices.
