According to a recent report by Comscore, Baidu surpassed Yahoo for the first time, capturing 6.9 percent of the worldwide search share. It is now the second largest worldwide search engine. The report says that Baidu's success is contributed to the rapid development of China's Internet.

Meanwhile, according to a report by iResearch, Baidu grabs 75.7 percent of China's search share. The market share of Google China has dropped to 19.8 percent.
