Bank stake report denied

A Chinese regulator denied a report the government investment fund bought a stake of less than five percent in Australia & New Zealand Banking Group Ltd.

 

"The report is not accurate," Wei Benhua, deputy director of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, said in Beijing yesterday.
