A grand banquet was held for participants at the Annual Meeting of New Champions 2009, better known as summer Davos forum, was held on the Xinghai Square of Dalian, northeast China's Liaoning Province. Klaus Schwab, founder and executive chairman of the World Economic Forum and his wife, acting mayor of Dalian, Li Wancai, Vice Mayor Dai Yulin, along with more than 1500 delegates attended the banquet. The banquet presented traditional Chinese performance and Chinese cuisine as well as western style food.

The three-day Annual Meeting of New Champions 2009 concludes in Dalian this afternoon.
