Cross-Strait charter flight shortage to be solved

Organizations from both sides of the Taiwan Strait which initiated the charter flight agreement agreed to solve the service shortage amid increasing demand from passengers, according to spokesman Li Weiyi with the State Council Taiwan Affairs Office here on Wednesday.

"The mainland-based Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Straits and the Taiwan-based Straits Exchange Foundation have reached a basic agreement to solve the current charter flight shortage in the upcoming conference," Li said.
