Chinese President Hu Jintao extended his greetings Wednesday to overseas Chinese talents and the talents who returned to China after studying abroad.

They were in Beijing to watch Thursday's National Day celebrations.

Also present were Premier Wen Jiabao, Vice President Xi Jinping and Vice Premier Li Keqiang.
