A couple, both of whom were born after the 1980s, had met no more than three times in their three-year-long marriage, Guangzhou Daily reported on November,12.

The couple recently ended their marriage, arranged by their parents, in Dongguan No.1 People's Court within an hour.

According to the court, the husband, surnamed Mo, was a Dongguan native. He married Ma, born in Yunfu, Guangdong province, on April 17, 2006, at the persuasion of his parents. Mo said he didn't know Ma even after the marriage. They didn't live together and didn't have any contact with each other. The couple only had two opportunities to meet — once at the registration of their marriage, and once at the wedding banquet. Ma filed for divorce after three years of the cold marriage.

Because there were no children and property issues to deal with, the divorce procedures lasted no more than an hour.
