A woman from Dalian, Liaoning province, posted an online advertisement in search of a "qualified male who can look after 14 dogs, including a mastiff and two other large canines", last week.

The woman said the man must be a "middle-aged bachelor without family commitments", as he would get just one day off a month.

The monthly salary, she said, would be 800 yuan ($117), besides free food and accommodation.The woman is still waiting for a response to her ad.
