A woman has posted a video online seeking to recruit a qualified man to watch the ongoing World Cup with her for a salary of 1,000 yuan (US$146.3) a day.

The woman in Beijing, dubbed "KK," is searching for a man to accompany her in watching the World Cup for a one-month period.

She uploaded a video declaration of her requirements onto video sharing website ku6.com Friday, claiming she enjoys football matches and watching handsome athletic players, but that she doesn't really understand the game.

"The man has to be aged between 20 and 40, be into sports and understand football," the qualification reads.

The soccer companion is expected to accompany her in watching only the matches that she enjoys, with the understanding that her team preferences always take priority.

Additional requirements include that the right candidate be warm, genial and skilled at cooking. He'll also be responsible for the washing up, KK says.

Only applicants who are straightforward and able to hold their drink will be short-listed. Shanghai men are not applicable for personal reasons, KK says.

Most importantly, the lucky winner must wash his feet at least twice a day.

"That's cool! I'm very interested in that. I would love to apply for it," said Joseph Fouza, a student from Cameroon at the Capital University of Economics and Business.
