Hospitals in Beijing are seeing more underage abortions following the summer holiday, Beijing Morning Post reports.
In some private hospitals, the rate has surged by more than 50 percent. Hospitals don't check the patients' real ages, said a doctor who wished to remain anonymous, adding that patients usually come alone with guilt about being underage and pregnant, regarding it disgraceful.
