Magnitude 4.5 earthquake jolts Tibet

A magnitude 4.5 earthquake hit Ali Prefecture in the western part of Tibet Autonomous Region in southwest China on Wednesday, according to the national seismological network of China.

The quake at a depth of 9 kilometers was recorded at 11:26 a.m. with its epicenter at 32.7 degrees north latitude and 85.3 degrees east longitude.
