Hong Kong's property prices have soared in recent years, with urban redevelopment shrinking the supply of older, cheaper blocks.

Thousands of people living in 15-square-foot cubicles or cages are being forced out as the properties are being sold to developers.

Low cost accommodation is also more difficult to find due to rising rents.
