Among the 17 ancient tombs, two contained wooden coffins in the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC- 24 AD), nine had stone coffins from the Eastern Han Dynasty and six were made up of bricks from the Song Dynasty (960-1279).

Some of these tombs included two coffins next to each other, and some had three coffins. Also, archeologists confirmed the identities of the owner of the tombs.

There are many excavated relics within the ancient tombs, including pottery figurines with vivid expressions and pottery chickens and dogs.

The miniature pottery of houses, wells, kitchens and even cultivated land vividly portray the daily life of these people, said the head of the excavation team.
