China's anti-graft chief, He Guoqiang, urged anti-corruption officials to discipline themselves and devote themselves to work on Monday.

He made the remarks when meeting with 47 newly promoted officials of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the Ministry of Supervision.

Anti-corruption officials should be honest and self-disciplined, and conscientiously observe rules and regulations, said He, CCDI secretary.

Also a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, He asked the officials to watch over their family members and never allow them to gain illegal benefits by taking advantage of their positions.

He also suggest the officials be careful when making friends or attending social activities.
