The number of Internet users in China, which is currently at 400 million, is expected to reach 750 million by 2015, according to a report from McKinsey & Company, the world's leading consulting firm.

In the next two years, China will see about 100 million new Internet users who will go online using mobile terminals, said the report.

Currently, there are about 300 million people in China who access the internet through mobile terminals. It is estimated that the speed of development in rural areas will grow faster compared to urban areas.
