Fire fighters and environmental workers took measures to absorb or dilute the leaked benzene before it could catch fire.H All clean-up work was finished and traffic on the expressway resumed early in the afternoon, according to the statement.

No one was poisoned in the accident. Environmental protection authorities are conducting a survey to evaluate any pollution to the soil and water.
