6 killed in coal mine accident in N China

Six miners were killed and eight others injured in an underground traffic accident in a coal mine in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region early Friday morning, according to local authorities.

A tram carrying 14 miners at the Wusigedu coal mine crashed while turning. The mine is is owned by Northern United Power Co. of China Huangneng Group.
