The full list of 39 fatalities from the east China train collision were made public Thursday after police released the identities of the last four.

Police on Thursday morning identified another four fatalities from the deadly high-speed train collision that occurred in east Zhejiang Province late Saturday.

Police said a Chinese American -- Chen Zengrong from Fujian Province -- was among Thursday's list, bringing the death toll of foreigners in the accident to three -- two Chinese Americans and an Italian.

Pan Yiheng, the driver of the high-speed train D301 who was stabbed to death by the brake handle after his train rear-ended bullet train D3115, was also on Thursday's list.

Police said the identities of all 39 dead in the accident have been confirmed through DNA tests.

Also, all of the bodies retrieved from the crash site have been claimed by their relatives, police said.

On Tuesday, police disclosed the first list of 28 fatalities from the accident. Liguori Assunta, a female Italian national, and Cao Erxing, a Chinese American, were among the dead.

Police identified seven more fatalities on Wednesday morning.

Of the 36 Chinese fatalities, 19 were from Zhejiang and 12 from Fujian, where the two trains were heading. Five other deceased were from Beijing, Tianjin, Henan, Hunan and Anhui.

Of the 36 Chinese, there were at least four children, whose ages can be judged from their ID card numbers or from their parents' ages.

Chinese ID cards record information of birthdays of the holders, and passengers on China's high-speed trains are required to provide their ID card numbers, which are printed on the tickets.
