A man in Sichuan province walked for seven days and six nights from Chengdu, capital of the province, to Chongqing to find a job.

Jin Weiquan, 21, wanted to find a job in Chongqing, a neighboring municipality, and, as he had no money, he decided to walk to the city.

Starting from a bus station in Chengdu, Jin walked more than 320 km in seven days and six nights to arrive in Chongqing on July 14.

"I had only a bucket of instant noodles with me and I drank water from the trenches along the road," Jin told traffic police officer whom he met when he arrived in the city.

His walk attracted great attention online, which helped him get a job with an Internet company on July 18.
