The Dolan sheep bred in Xinjiang's Kashgar City have become the latest collectors' item for ultra-rich Chinese, the Daily Telegraph reported.

The most valuable sheep is a six-year-old owned by breeder Majid Abdul Reyim.

Reyim said he had not yet accepted any offers for the sheep, despite receiving bids of up to 14 million yuan.

Buyers tend to be Uighur Muslims who have made their money in the sheep industry and want a prize sheep for a pet.
