The coal mine collapse occurred at 3:10 a.m. Friday, leaving 12 miners trapped underground. Seven of them were rescued by Sunday morning.

The last miner to be pulled out of the pit alive suffered eight rib fractures and has been sent to a hospital 150 km away for treatment. The rest of the rescued miners are being treated at another hospital about 40 km away from the mine, the headquarters said.

The miners' injuries are not life-threatening, the headquarters said.

Thirteen miners were working underground when the accident occurred, with just one managing to escape. Later that day, rescuers managed to establish contact with the seven surviving miners and pull them out of the pit.
