One policeman was killed and two others were injured on February 9 in a gun fight with three criminal suspects. Two suspects were also killed at the scene, local media reported today.

Police of Luhuo County surrounded a farm where the three suspects were hiding on the morning of February 9, but the suspects resisted fiercely and fired at the officers, killing one policeman and injuring two.

The police returned fire immediately and shot two suspects dead. The other one was captured alive. Police also seized three guns, 40 bullets and some explosives, said the Ganzi Daily.

Police are still investigating the case, the paper said.
