In 2012, 44 central government insititutions will select 175 civil servants from a pool of public servants who are already working for governments at or below the provincial level, as well as from local government staff who are working under the jurisdiction of the nation's civil service law but are not technically civil servants, according to the statement.

Applicants for central government posts must have a bachelor degree or higher and at least two years of work experience at community-level government bodies, the statement said.

There is also an age limit for some posts, according to the statement.

Applications will be accepted between March 21 and 30, followed by a written examination on April 15, the statement said.

Those who pass the exam will also undergo a strict physical check, the statement said.
