Vice President Xi Jinping on Saturday attended a graduation ceremony held by the Party School of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee.

Xi, who is also a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and president of the Party School, awarded graduation certificates to 245 officials who completed the school's spring semester.

Many graduates said that after studying at the school, they began to have a clearer idea of Party purity and social issues, as well as consolidated their political beliefs in line with the CPC Central Committee.

Li Jingtian, the school's executive vice president, called on the graduates to continue their studies and boost their leadership abilities in preparation for the upcoming 18th National Congress of the CPC.
