The pain and joy of an 84-year-old
Li found it difficult to strike a balance between the nude modeling and the relationship with his children.

He admitted failing to look after his children because of his busy job. And several past disagreements regarding property distribution may have added to their discontent.
About two years ago, Li embarked on his lonely existence. He supposed that his children would be annoyed if word of his special job was to reach them, but he still regarded it as a fair and square done deal.
"I was very lonely until I found this new job. It enables me to be both content and useful. I can help students with their painting and I can go places I never even thought about going," Li Jun said after a long silence.
