The Chinese army's first female special warfare unit is officially established in a brigade of the Nanjing Military Region on Mar. 8, 2013, according to China National Radio (CNR).

This event marks the start of female soldiers becoming a new power in the People Liberation Army's Special Forces.

Now, the soldiers will complete dozens of training areas like fighting, umbrella landing and light diving, which will gradually grant them the capacities to carry out special operations and non-warzone military operations.
