Jilin Province will accelerate construction of high-speed railways between central and eastern China.

Railway crossings

The China Tumen-North Korea Rajin Railway and China Tumen-North Korea Chongjin Railway is under renovation.

Highway passenger transportation

The China Tumen-North Korea highway passenger line is now open. The China Quanhe-North Korea Rajin and China Tumen-North Korea Onsong County-North Korea Chongjin international road transport lines are also under construction.

New passenger lines will promote comprehensive development of eastern China and North Korea’s Onsong, and boost industrial cooperation between China and North Korea’s Ra Son. The lines will also promote development of the Tumen Korean Industrial Park as a joint bilateral project and support the integration of Yanji, Longjing and Tumen.
