Free medical treatment

Over the years, SARS patients have formed a group for other victims to communicate with and help each other. They elected ten representatives to publicly express the group's needs and fight for subsidies.

In 2005, necrotic femoral, pulmonary fibrosis and depressive disorder were listed on Beijing's free medical treatment list for SARS patients.

Self-help

In 2012, the group established a foundation. A loving heart-sponsor read Fang Bo's story and promised a 30,000 yuan monthly donation to the foundation.

The group attached the foundation to the Beijing Disabled People's Association and named it the "SARS Patients Sequelas Foundation."

These patients hope the foundation can gain financial strength and get more help from both the government and society.

Through this foundation, patients have had some renewed hope, and all continue to strive for a better life.
