In the molesting case involving Grade-6 students, police have asked medical examiners to reexamine the six girls after their parents challenged a police report which claimed they had not been raped after their principal and a public servant took them to spend a night at hotels, police in Wanning City in Hainan Province said.

An initial medico-legal examination found the sixth graders, who are from two different schools, with their hymen intact. However, the parents claimed their children were only tested to ascertain if they had injuries to their private parts and pushed for another checkup.

Police said two of the girls had invited the principal, surnamed Chen, of Wanning City No. 2 Primary School, and the clerk of a local housing administration, surnamed Feng, to drink and dine last Wednesday night, China Central television reported.

Some parents told The Beijing News that Chen and Feng were "sugar daddies" of the two students, one of whom had studied in Chen's school before moving on to Houlang Primary School.

She told Chen to drive them to the provincial capital Haikou, but Chen refused and gave them 1,000 yuan (US$163) in cash when he left. Hours later, he was called again when they were partying in a KTV club. Two of the girls were reluctant to sing and one of them called Feng to pick them up, police said.

Police found that Chen and four students had checked in at Green Spring Field Hotel in Wanning and left the next morning. Feng and two others spent the night at Dazhou Island Resort Villa. Feng left the resort alone the next day, China National Radio reported.

The girls appeared to be dopey and were drowsy when they were found and had bruises on their necks and hands.

The parents suspect that their children were drugged and then sexually abused, Beijing Times reported.

A girl said Chen hugged her and had been intimate with her. One of the girl's father, Wang Qiang, said Chen tried to lure his daughter to have sex with him by offering her up to 5,000 yuan, but she refused to accept the money.

"Her clothes were not torn the next morning, but she found some dirt stains on her private part. She also saw the headmaster step out of the bathroom in an underwear," Wang said.

The two girls who stayed with Feng denied they had been intimate with him, according to The Beijing News. But one of the girl's father quoted his daughter as saying that Feng bought clothes and high heels for them.
