This 38-year-old Liuzhou native started his journey several months ago from Wuzhou City in Guangxi and reached Liuzhou on Tuesday, May 21, 2013, according to ncnews.com.cn, a Guangxi-based news website.

The simple and crude house was built by Liu five years ago, by using several bamboo poles, plastic materials and bed sheets.

It weighs about 60 kilograms, and is Liu's sleeping place and shelter from the wind and rain.

Liu previously had built two other similar houses.
