Tang Hui said her daughter Lele's experiences with forced prostitution in 2006 have caused lifelong infertility for the teenage girl. According to the mother, Lele has been in Beijing for four days receiving psychological treatment, and "the results have been satisfactory."

Tang said she was currently applying for U.S. visas and would ideally set off in half a year. She did not reveal the source of her funds, but reiterated that curing her daughter was her biggest wish.

The Hunan Provincial Higher People's Court on Monday ordered the Yongzhou Municipal Reeducation through Labor Commission to pay Tang Hui 2,641.15 yuan (US$428) for infringing upon her personal freedom and causing psychological damage.

Tang Hui said she was "more or less satisfied" with the verdict, but still felt not being able to get a formal apology from the commission was "regrettable."
