4 rescued from blazing central China building

A fire in a building in Wuhan City of central China's Hubei Province has been put out, and four people trapped inside have been rescued, the local emergency response office said.

The fire spread from the fourth floor to the eighth floor of the building of Wuhan Center of Geological Survey from 5:30 p.m. Monday.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
