At a meeting with bailiffs on Monday, Hong Kong police said they had been preparing to help enforce the injunction against the street barricades outside the Citic Tower in Admiralty, next to government buildings, after a request from the building's owners.

Police have urged protesters to remove barricades and leave the area with private items as soon as possible.

The court has authorized bailiffs to request police assistance where necessary, and has also authorized police to arrest and remove anyone obstructing or interfering with bailiffs enforcing the terms of the injunction.
