The railway, still in use, is a connection section from the factory to the Hunan-Guangxi railway. It is also the first railway in the city. The traditional Chinese characters can be clearly seen inside the rail, showing the production unit and date.

The Hanyang Steel Plant, which built the rail, made 330 kilometers of rail from 1894 to 1924.
