"@Jeremyljm: This morning I went to Hankou for some business and fell asleep on the subway. When I woke up, I found a pregnant lady standing in front of me. I was just about to offer my seat, when I saw at least ten people shooting photos of me. I was terrified, and I felt that I am going to be on the top news: 'man pretending to sleep with pregnant lady standing in front of him.'"

Man pretending to sleep with pregnant lady standing in front of him?

Mr. Li, the blogger, is 24 years old and works in the IT industry in Wuhan, Hubei Province in central China. He took the subway on Jan. 14, 2015, and on his way he fell asleep. When he woke up, he found a pregnant woman standing in front of him. He was just about to offer his seat, when he saw at least ten people taking photos of him. He was afraid that people would post the pictures online and viewers would never know what really happened, so he stood up to defend himself on his Weibo (the Chinese version of Twitter).

Luckily, he is not "top news." Li says, "A lot of young people like me stay up late and fall asleep during the day. This is not unusual – sometimes we can't help ourselves, and this is definitely not on purpose. I hope people will understand."
