Boars, hares, pheasants and porcupines are available for hunting, with boars being the main prey. All the animals are tamed, and the use of guns is strictly regulated.

The construction of the hunting ground was approved by the Forestry Department of Sichuan Province. According to regulations, wildlife domestication and breeding, as well as the introduction of species should be carried out in accordance with relevant laws.

Although the annual membership fee is 100,000 yuan, there are still large numbers of people coming, mostly private owners.

The hunting ground covers an area of 10,000 mu (6.7 square km) , divided into eight zones.

Guns entering and leaving the ground are strictly recorded. At night, infra-red and other protection is activated. In fact, the guns are not "displayed on the wall" as many people thought; they are locked in safe boxes.
