This is the second selfie being publicly posted by Modi on his social media website. The first one was a selfie with Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott which was taken when Modi made a visit to Australia last November.

According to Indian media, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi who was a fan of taking selfies had even proposed an activity called "Taking a Selfie with Modi" and established 1,500 selfie booths across India for citizens to take photos with his image.
