On the afternoon of Aug. 12, Leung Chun-ying, chief executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region made an investigation trip to Hengqin.

Leung Chun-ying visits the Secondary Customs Monitoring Command Center.

The first stop was the round about monitoring hall which is located in the Secondary Customs Monitoring Command Center. It was constructed by Hengqin Science and Technology Development Company.

Li Jia, municipal party secretary of Zhuhai; Jiang Ling, mayor of Zhuhai; and Liu Jia, the party secretary of Hengqin New Area and others accompanied the visit.

Later, Leung visited the Hengqin Entrepreneurship Valley and the Beijing University Entrepreneurship Training Camp. He also learnt about the construction progress of Hengqin Free Trade Area.
